Post subject: Missing textures/polygons |
|
|
| Okay...I've got a Geforce2 MX400 graphics card. Just recently downloaded the drivers from Nvidia. In all the games I have that use 3D acceleration, I get tons of missing textures and polygons. I tried using the old windows XP driver, but that didn't do anything for me, either. It's becoming rather annoying. Any ways to get around this? |

you should contact Nvida about this..
Could just be a faulty Video Card.
OR download some newer drivers maybe from http://www.driverguide.com or even uninstall drivers and then reinstall..
Maybe this will help.
Dosser: Lets hope TD doesnt bite your head off over that |

The GeForce MX series are cheap cards. They were designed for not-so-rich people. That alone might be the reason.
Anyway, make sure you have DirectX 9.0c (if you haven't already done so), and also try different resolutions and color depths to see if there is any difference. Also try changing the video hardware acceleration at different settings to see if anything helps you there. |

| Downloaded an older driver from Driverguide, seems to solve my problem. Suprised I didn't think to look there in the first place... Thanks for the help. |
