My dos went back to windows saying "The program performed an "ilegal" operation and has been terminated. I read the help file and it said, if you get lockdowns (Whatever that means.) Then go to CONFIG.SYS on your computer, and add
STACKS=9,256 I have no idea to get into my Config.sys thing on my computer, i have a windows 98, and is there anyway to fix this without altering my config thingy? Please help!!

Or you could run it in DOSBox, as described, with the patch, and have sound ... Confuzzled

Hi. I don't know why but the patch doesn't work.
I installed DosBox, unzipped Biomenace and unzipped the patch into the BM directory.

Then I executed Dosbox and the biopatch.exe and got the Message
"Biomenace Dosbox Patch 1-2-3 active!" but still the game just freezes after a few seconds.

And I didn't use another, new Dosbox window (why should I do that anyway?), so ist should have worked shouldn't it?
I also tried switching off UMB in the Dosbox config file but still the game crashes. Maybe the patch isn't working because it was meant to be used with the shareware version of Biomenace? It's frustrating Shifty

Now what should/can I do?

I think it doesn't work with DOSBox 0.65. Someone needs to make a new patch.

Patch isn't needed in 0.70 anymore.

Rejoice!
