wow, cool..........but dosgames.com would probably come up a lot closer to the top than mine if you looked on google or something. I'm probably just one of the only geocities people interested in DOS games.....

The Era of DOS games was good, but the early games werent all that great compared to some Windows games. (Xevil, Stick Soldiers)

Absolutely nothing! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahem. I agree with TD, especially given that Thomas Biskup (the creator of ADOM) said he'd be working on a Windows version of ADOM soon.

I agree for two reasons: the freeware was better for Windows, and Windows is better for the internet.
Continuum and Soldat are both great freeware online games. You can get both at Game Hippo. (Also, in the preview section, check out Dransik. It's in beta right now and is great, but it will cost money when the final version comes out
.

Soldat was fun until I got UT. It's no fun anymore.
Doesn't matter. Not enough people played it to have many good servers.

how can you relate something like soldat and UT? Let's like relating George Bush to Cheerios.

Both have: Similar controls, similar play styles ('cept one's 2d, and the other 3d) and someone else must've, because even Game Hippo said it was like Unreal Tournament in 2d.
