Post subject: can dos run on a system with no cpu ???? |

I open an old pc thats runing dos.... and find the cpu socket empty
can be possible.... or Im missing something???

| surface mount processor (common in later 386SX and 486 SX chips), they usualy have a socket for a math coprocessor and maybe a DX upgrade processor. |

| As far as i know only the 386 SX has the feature to add a FPU, the 486 SX has a disabled integrated FPU. |
