ADOM like game

Post by wardrich »

Hey,

i finally downloaded ADOM (it really is super fun!) and it reminded me of an older version of a game called Vampyr: The Talisman of Invocation . The fighting style was pretty much the same, but Vampyre isn't ASCII. It is all about the sprites. But it has a pretty kool twist: When you die in the normal mode, you end up goin to Heaven and it is like a whole new game! It was one of my ever most favourite games too. A must get if you can find it! I had it on my old computer but as you know, i have a new one now, and the game is too big to copy over AND i lost the CD that the game was on

Oh well, get it if ya can, and lemme know where ya found it.

Thx
Richard

Uh, Richard, I can't let you do that. I know it isn't linking to the site, but any links to any underdogs (and there must be many underdogs) ;) ;) Even if it is to an individual game.

ok. Im truely sorry. I wasnt sure if it was ok, but i figured that since it isnt the actual site, and the game was freeware that it was ok. I wont do it again.

Richard.

PS: The prefix after the underdogs part is /game.php?id=3068

(is that alrite?)

If used as a postfix then yes although it does weird things when used as a prefix. ;)

Indeed. Though suffixes are more common.

You mean "the-" underdogs, not just any old underdogs? If you mean THE underdogs, it's an abandonware site I can't link to or tell you about. But, if I COULD give you the site for "THE-" underdogs, you'd just put the following after the site name when you type it into the address bar: game.php?id=3068 But I can't link them here, unfortunatly.

Well, they only post downloads if it is abandoned or free. If no one sells it, then they'll post the download.

Why are childporn sites still up and running? Because the powers that be don't control the servers. Granted, most servers have rules against such things but the UDs server refuses to delete the site, mainly because they make a large amount of $$$ off of it. International law states very little to provide for forcing a server to delete a site it's hosting.
