Looking for Certain Level Editors
Looking for Certain Level Editors
Hey I'm looking for level editors for the following games: Major Stryker, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Crystal Caves, Monster Bash. I know it's a lot. Does anyone know of any for those games? Thanks.
There are two (three if you count the one the creators used ) level editors for Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure. The best one is Cosedit. This one is a WYSIWYG editor that I helped create.
The other level editor for Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure is Cosmedit. This is a text-based one that's hard to use.
The guy who created Cosedit is/was also working on a level editor for Crystal Caves. He already made some levels that you can test. Maybe there is some info about the progress of this level editor at this fan site or this fan site (I guess not :p)
There isn't a level editor for Monster Bash, because its files are compressed. There is some information on Gerald Lindsly's website about its compressing.
There also isn't a level editor for Major Stryker.

Have you run Textract? Have you put all the extracted files into the same directory?

Do you have the file Actrinfo.mni in the same directory?

Actrinfo.mni is inside Cosmo1.stn. You have to run Textract to get that file out of that other file. Or better yet, use WinTExtract.
