Name of a Game

Forum for all the suggestions that have 1. nothing to do with our two websites (Dosgames.com/ DosGamesArchive) and 2. are not bug reports.

Name of a Game

Post by Kazer0 »

I believe that we need a forum for finding the name of a game, since "Find old Games" is full of people who just need to know the name.

Well can't it be removed? In case it comes dead...
"Long before there was ultra-super-duper-128-bit-polygon-video-capture, hardware hype, wEiRd TyPe, pointless game ratings, E3, SCREAMING GUYS in ads, Virtual Reality, cliches like "in your face" and "it's the ultimate", 360 degree roto-scope-rhetoric from self righteous reviewers, CD-this, 3-D that, multi-million-dollar TV commercials tainted with TOILET humor...

...there was fun."

Someones knows name but doesn't where to get. So it won't die. Even topics aren't deleted here (Like that warez/abandonware site). Maybe doubles are but...

IMHO theres already too many forums for the # of users that come here, so splitting up the finding games forum wouldn't serve much point ... course you guys are free to convince db to do whatever you think's best heh ;)

Uh, no, I don't think this would serve much point as I think Find Old Games already covers name *and* location. If we were to split name and location then imagine people first posting it Find Old Game Names to find the name then making an identical post in Find Old Game Locations. IMO, the pointless duplicity isn't worth it and it would just make actually *finding* the game harder and more complicated-something we don't want.
