| Hexen is nothing compared to some of the Windows DOOM Ports, like jDOOM and DOOM Legacy. The blood splatters all over the screen. |

This applies to Dosgames.com as well, so I'll leave it here.
Yes, while it is the parent’s responsibility to watch what their kids download, some sort of a rating system would be nice. For instance, in Level 3 of Shadow Warrior there is a hidden Easter Egg where you walk through a waterfall and find a nude woman which probably makes the game inappropriate for children… if there were a warning (for instance “site rating: M for extreme violence and some nudity) then we could at least say “hey, we warned you, if you downloaded it anyway, it’s your fault.” |

This is a very good point, one that I should have thought of myself. I think I'll make up some kind of symbol to put on games that include violent content. For certain games I know I mentioned the violence (for example, Executioners!) but I didn't think to include warnings for games like Doom and Hexen, I guess because I played them when I was young and they didn't seriously warp my mind. (At least, I hope not.)
Anyways, good suggestion, I'll try to implement some kind of warning system soon, to protect myself from irate over-reacting parents.
Although really, having warnings on games would ultimately just make kids MORE likely to download those games, wouldn't they |

Add to the Terms and Conditions:
| Quote: | | You are aware that some games may be inappropriate for children. It is your own responsibility of downloading such games |
or something. |

Of course. But the warning would be mainly for the parents (who hopefully are keeping an eye on what their children are doing), not the kids. |
