2D Windows Arcade Space Shooter with shop mechanic

Post by pepeSh »

I've practically described the game the best I can in the topic
The most "signature" thing about that game was shop mechanic for upgrading your spaceship
I played that game back in primary school around 2006-2007 (but the game itself is most likely older)

EDIT: Also the game was from bird-eye perspective
EDIT #2: My mistake, the game was "top-down" persepctive to be exact

Sadly no.
The game was more of a Galaga style, but with upgrades that you can either collect or buy in the shop.
Also it had a scoreboard after "game over" if that would help.

Did you sell the pickups to get points/credits to buy things in the shop?
Some 2006 space games with shop mechanic:

I can't really remember.
Also I belive the background of the game was only dark space, so no land, water etc.
