Sci-fi side view shooter

I'm looking for some game I played demo long time ago. It was sci-fi side view shooter, player control space ship and attacks everything that comes from right side. It was veeery similar to this game: http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/solaris-104 . The main difference was, that you earn some credits and can upgrade your ship after every level. And probably it was a little older than Solaris. Any ideas?

There are lots of side-view shmups!

Yup, I know. At some point I think I looked through all side-view games that were listed in mobygames but still did not find it. Solaris was the closest hit, as it is very similar (gameplay, graphic etc.) but missing this part about upgrades using credits after level.
