Japanese Fighting game 3D (Around 2004?)

I Used to play a PC Game that as far as I remember was fully japanese, his graphics were really beautiful in 3D. It had around 6 characters but some of them were locked. There is 2 characters I remember playing with. One of them had a greatsword like, fire moves and could launch 1 meteor from the sky towards his opponent, I believe it was kinda of a special move (He kinda looked like Cloud from Final Fantasy). The other one was like a mage somehow who threw some greenish ice or glass spikes and sometimes a really big one. One scenario I remember aswell was sort of a clear red plains, maybe like mars or something.

Not quite, I believe the graphics were prettier. Also the characters didn't have this fantasy style.

It sounds like "Battle Arena Toshinden", I remembered the meteor attack, but by another character with a long spear. Anyway look it up and see if that's it.
