Cheese-its & Rice!hehe

However, I have to confess I'm nobody.

Programming's just a hobby of mine.

No guarantees if I continue until 100 years old.

In addition to my defense, I'm just starting out on MS-DOS. Laughing

It's only been exact 1 year to the date since I registered with DOSGAMES.

If I could pay my bills with just my programming then maybe!

If I could pay all my necessary expenses...
If I could pay for at least my real dad and my real mom...

Then maybe I could call myself someone to talk about for programming.

My real mom always teaches to be wize so in honour of her for that#!!

My real dad is Nguyen Binh Thuy.

My real mom is Huong Thi Vu.

Bless my real mom for showing me being perfect is the way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember when you are perfect in your job people just let's you go.

They recommend you to others.

Thank you God that I'm perfect hopefully like my parents wants!!!!!

In this one it "seems" it does nothing.

However the truth is it "might" be a setting for the better eventually.

Thank you Jesus Christ.

Heh, a while ago I considered learning Spanish but haven't gotten around to it so far. There are so many interesting languages in the world, but to study seriously you need quite a lot of time.

Go for it!

If you remember one thing about me, just remember that my two real parents always tells me to study no matter how stupid I may feel!!!!!!!!!!!!

So just remember Nguyen Binh Thuy (dad), and Huong Thi Vu (mom) and you are good to go. Laughing

I might be joking however there is a serious friendship token there. You know a true friend would tell you that anything is possible just as long as you study like my two real parents always tells me.

I am confessing now that I did not start MS-DOS programming until last year. So it took me 1 full year before I did something meaningful.

Even now I just read 1 page a day.

That's very true - especially once family, work, etc take precedence. レット・アズ・ビギン・ウェア・イズ・マイ・スパニッシュ・ブック Tbbbbbth! (?? maybe)

Looking back at my early days, I cannot help but feel cheated that a foreign language wasn't a requirement in HS... to see folks of other lands speak English so eloquently is sort of disheartening.

@Tien: if you are fluent in Spanish, then a super cool program could be a phrase translator with examples of common usage for proper nouns, nouns, etc.

pseudocoder, don't feel bad! We foreigners are usually grateful if not always to be in America ("The Land of Opportunity"). I remember being just a 3rd grader and crying because I was not "white". The schools were 99% caucasian and I wish and cried to God I was one of the white people. Silly? Not to a kid who always felt left out.

Decades later I still feel alone however I'm kind of happy now finding my place. I know I cannot change my heritage (I think hehe).

Back in the days when I was in HS, I had a good teacher. She would give everyone of her students drills to take home everyday. We would come to class and be prepared for tests. I am guessing she was from Spain since at the end of the class she told me I am good enough now to live in Spain. However she cautioned me that I needed to practice. That was the last step I needed in order to become like the natives. Fortunately, I am in USA so I didn't need spanish much. There are few times when I needed also-ran spanish however it is more for play. The spanish people I meet already know English. So really the saying is true "When in Rome, do as the Romans."

@pseudocoder:

By the way, thanks for the advice on keeping those Borland books.

I have 5000 pages of Borland books to read in 12 years. Laughing

Maybe one day I'll be good enough to call myself:

Well, I remember my two real parent's lesson to me especially the part about Jesus. They told me in their own old fashioned way to be humble. Being successful and proud and arrogant is a sure way to lose your real love ones!

My father hinted at going away to be a great hero who flew a helicopter. He succeeded however when he came home his parents passed away.

Like so many people, my real mother cried aloud when her father passed away at an early age.

Thank you God these tragedies don't happen to me!!!!!!!!!!!!

However there is a price I pay for keeping my two real parents; I'm on welfare. I give for free my games that I enjoy making. Here is something I did for my project for the people that happens to be fun for myself too. I apologize ahead of time for the use of the likeness of the LodeRunner player. For what it is worth, I love digging those holes in the ground on the Atari 2600 in my vague memories.

Those were the days in 1983 or such#!!

I've got an idea for the next section of my program.

However I don't know if I'm able to complete it yet.

I don't want to keep doing new Lode Runner levels since copyright concerns.

So I'll just keep it being a preview to the original Lode Runner (1 level).

Thank you God first of all for all you give me for the rest of forever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bless you Jesus Christ, then my real mom Huong Thi Vu; you always win#!!

Honours to my real dad Nguyen Binh Thuy; You made me a programmer!!!!!

Honours to my real mom Huong Thi Vu; You teach me to work hard.

Speaking of humble, I have to confess that I'm the worst sinner and can't judge anyone. So help me God that I renounce from all my sins from this moment until my 100 year old birthday! Laughing

Anyways, I've got no clue what to do currently since I'm always unsure from moment to moment. However there is a possible update to my game. I just don't want to go to the point where I'd break.

Once I was a professional student. I studied so much that I cracked and became crazy. Yes, it is true that I once lost it more times than I'd admit.
