Final Fantasy thoughts .....

Post by Santhosh CHRiS »

Melodies of Life

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye7BGnlTZmQ

This song and video is so beautiful it almost makes me cry...how HOW could I have been soooo blinded by Zelda and missed playing Final Fantasy thinking it was just a cheap rip off.... All my life and my youth wasted. I am so ashamed. Sniff... it's too late for me but (cough cough) please... PLEASE play it... my dying wish :(

Don't worry, I never played any final fantasy either, and I turned out okay.

Pff, Final Fantasy's got nothing on the Chrono series.

I've always been pretty keen on the Final Fantasy series, but admittedly, I actually preferred a lot of its off-shoots such as Seiken Densetsu and etc, lol. The newer games, (ie, XIII in dev, XIV in distant planning) look and sound really good, and I reckon I'll definitely give them a try some day, but I can't really afford the time required to dedicate oneself to such games for the time being. And the Chrono series was kick-ass. ^.^

Wha...awwww... why is it everytime I make a post you split it into a whole new topic?? Anywayz this time it was really sweet thanks.

One of my online friends is crazy about FF stuff and sending me all kinds of links to vids and music urging me to play. The music is really the major turn on for me right now

MARINES EAT BABIES FOR BREAKFAST HOLY SHIT

I once owned Final Fantasy VIII for the PC...my PC was so slow, it took about five minutes to switch from map to map. So, I never got off the first disc.

My friend let me borrow Final Fantasy VI for the SNES one time. I was pretty far into it, and one day I had played for a few hours without saving...after beating some pain-in-the-ass boss. Then the power flickered off for a few seconds. I was so mad, I stopped playing.

The first one is hard as hell, unless you like grinding ALL THE TIME.

Only on thursdays and fridays.

Ever been to a marine chow hall? It's hilarious hearing all the sailors here complain about the galley here (I'm at a Navy station atm), since it's like frikking Ruth Chris's compared to the shit we got to eat at Pendleton. No wonder Navy is so damn fat... :blah:

Well, that and the fact the only place you ever see them run is *to* chow. You can't walk 15 minutes without seeing a platoon of marines or soldiers PTing, but you never see the Navy working out.

Final Fantasy VIII - Eyes On Me

A dreamy music video that ignites some romance even in the hearts of those who kill kittens just saying :D

Nah, I generally don't get turned on by video game characters. To each his own, though...

Eh.. just so you know by romance I meant you can relate the girl of your life with these songs and not with the video game characters themselves (other than Lara Croft from Tomb Raider but that's a different story altogether).

In the melodies of life video the scene where the girl looks at the guy before falling down... priceless!! Just brought a tear in my eye and some of my fondest memories from my own life :)

Here's another music video with FF with the music of Cascada Everytime we touch
