Post subject: Recipies for Delicious Cooking and mouth watering |
|
|
Since lack of posting new topics has been noted i decided its time to reveal secrets of cooking. Please stick to deserts/Treats (Biscuits, savoury stuff, slices.
I will start with my specialty
Popcorn (Cooked in a special Way)
WARNING: This uses a STOVE TOP and hot oil
Parent supervision for childeren without knowledge recommended
Ingredients:
2 spreads of butter with a knife
5 table spoons oil
Icing Sugar
Pinch of salt (More for topping later)
Popcorn - I usually use 3/4 a drinking glass (Medium Sized) but you may use more but will have to add more butter
Method:
1.Place butter and oil into a medium sized saucepan with lid on. Wait until it sizzles and put salt in and shake saucepan around a bit.
2.Put popcorn in and then every 20 seconds give it a shake
3.When popping ceases remove from stove and place into bowl or Ice Cream container if you wish.
4. Put icing sugar and salt on (Not too much salt or you spoil it) mix popcorn around.
5. Serve Immediately
Viola! There you have popcorn that melts in your mouth. There should be minimum popcorn grains left in bottom of the bowl.
Give me a rating and post a new recipie. |

| I generally use a more general popping method... 1/4 cup of kernals, cover bottom of pan with oil. I don't see a reason to measure oil and butter, generally. The icing looks tasty, though... |

I'm so lame, I only get microwave popcorn with the extra grease/butter/fat, whatever this stuff is called. I did however find a nice way to touch it up, after the bag has popped, I carefully open the top of the bag and start shaking in a whole lot of Parmessan cheese, ummm tasty |

Cornflakes and icecream sounds too... granulated. Unless you mean melted icecream?
Anyway, you've got to try spaghetti sauce and (solid) icecream before you die - simply the best stuff ever! Either make your own spaghetti sauce, or take some storebought stuff and then heat it, add italian seasoning and garlic. Then mix it which browned ground beef and onion... though you can hold the beef if you want, depends on your taste. poor this over a bowl of vanilla icecream while the sauce is still hot and add just a little apple juice for the tart flavor. Delicious. |
