I think they are majorly overrated by the "punk" community. They are fair decent i guess. I just don't like them.

theyere actually not overrated. ive found that only random small amounts of people seem to know them and they are just posers

true there are other bands who have politically attack lyrics but listening to Dead Kennedys give you an excuse to listen to them during school... to thoise who still are

DK = Dead Kennedy's. They are a "punk" band with quite political lyrics and themes. IMO, not one of the best of their genre...but cyber here seems to like them a fair amount.

dead kennedys own that other crap. they are good because my teachers dont like it and i can pull it off as educational, easy guitar and good random noise when your in the mood
