You could at least state:
I *think* that ... whatever goes here.

Yes, DGK Gold runs perfectly in dosbox.
Of course not if you only have a faulty rip with the win version on it.

*edit.
FYI:
This is how the dir structure of DKGOLD looks:

See the dossetup? (Yes, I have the original CD Happy ..)
DKgold isn't a game on it's own, it's a repackaged game of dungeon keeper with the addons, an editor and some more goodies.
The FULL DKGold CD has the Win ànd the Dos version of dungeon keeper.
Of course most rips and pirated CDs only have the winversion.
DK (the first release (have that too of course) and DKGold runs much steadier in dosbox than directly under XP.

Download the DK demo from file planet and unpack it, then go to the sound folder and simply copy over the sound.dat and speech.dat This isn't pirating as it is part of a demo. This gives you 80%+ of the sound from the game. Its not perfect but you get the music, the imps, diging, casting, building, etc. You get the game!

I've also tried copying the sounds from the demo, but the demo don't have the briefings and the music, which I want.

Can't anyone with the full version supply everyone with those files? It doesn't strictly go under piracy in that case, think of it as an unofficial patch for the game that provides some sound-fixes... Happy

That's why it's called a demo.
The files you ask for belong to the full version and thus won't be provided.
If you want the full game: buy it.

As this is going way out hand, I'll close this.
