In Jazz Jackrabbit 1, there is a secret at the beginning of the first level on the planet Diamondus. Once the message "Go!" (or whatever it says) is displayed, shoot the turtles walking below you, then jump back onto the grass platform you were on previously. From there, run and jump onto the tree in front of you, and then run and jump yet again from the top of the tree. If you do it right, you will be at the entrance of a secret passage hidden in the wall at the top of the screen. Jump up and over to the right, then to the left until you see yourself in the little clearing. You will see on the ground a little bird in a cage. Shoot the cage to free him. From now on, he follows you around, and when he sees an enemy in sight, will throw little bombs at them till they die. The bird will instantly leave if you are hit by an enemy Forbidding . If you get to the end of the second level successfully, having never once been hurt, the bird will take you to the secret planet.

Hope this helps you in your gaming adventures,

Homz Happy

My way is through a secret wall on level 1 or 2 (forgot which one) near the end of the level. I remember jumping on the springs, then going right againsts the left wall, until you slip into a passage with an ending sign there.

'Clear 2nd with bird' doesn't work for me, but spring wall does.

Well, this is slightly off-topic, but could someone e-mail me a copy of Jazz Jackrabbit 1? I have 2 on a CD, but I lost the disk for 1 about 3 years ago.

Yep. DB wants the shareware version. Doesn't mean it has to be legal shareware.

1. I have Jazz Jackrabbit *TWO* on CD. *One* was on a floppy *disk*. (Somehow, I remember saying that before...)

2. Jazz Jackrabbit is on Dosgames.com? I never noticed...
