Hellbender or Fury3 or whatever its also called. Plays just like Terminal Velocity, but much more advanced for its day. Featured voice of Gillian Anderson? Special Agent Dana Scully? Anyone know what the hell im talking about? I believe a demo version came packaged when you got windows 95. Published by Microsoft.
Anyways, this must be one of the most difficult games to find. I've looked up all thru various search engines and all i get are outdated archived reviews, and weird fansites for the species of....amphibians, i believe, that are also named hellbenders. Not even ebay has it.
Help?! |

Tough game to find...and I'm just talking about the demo. Fury3 is even harder (and yes, I'm still talking about its demo). I think I may have both demos archived in the local network's file storage, but that's gigabytes to sort through.
Hellbender was the first of the Terminal Velocity-like games to actually feature hardware 3D acceleration. Also, it's a Windows game. |
