did this but i keep getting the Z: at opening screen

mount C C:\DOS\CDrive

Here you screwed up, probably a typo or so in your folder names, if the folder C:\dos\cdrive exist it will work.

And get rid of that CLS, so you can read what's going wrong and what error message dosbox returns.

But if I would be you, I would get rid of that c:\dos\cdrive,
keep it simple friend, you will screw up easily enough as is. -Happens to me too ;)

Create a c:\games and mount that as c:

mount c c:\games
mount d d:\ -t cdrom
c:

Much better. 'If' your real cd drive letter is D.

You made typos somewhere, really.
Check, double, triple check.

Try to input at your prompt (Z:\> thingy is that)
mount c c:\games
c:

and look what it says.
IF your C:\games exist it will do this:

I may hope you created a c:\games whilst in windows ??????????
(mine is e:\games, disregard that, it's simply another partition I use)

And if F is your real cd drive letter in windows the mount line must be:
mount d f:\ -t cdrom
That will give you D as cd drive in dosbox.

ALWAYS mount your CD as D in dosbox, or sooner or later you gonna have trubbles with games that only recognise D as CD drive (yes, those bastards exist, really).
