Well. IT seems that the AFP (Australian Federal Police) have been busy catching terrorists.

Interesting that over 500 cops attended this day in arresting etc..

The story refers to a tower which was possibly planned to be destroyed by terrorists.

Good to hear that australia is still safe from these terrible people.

Im not afraid of any terrorists. If they want to bomb us, go ahead but they wont scare me!

I'm not really worried about terrorists, there's nowhere they could really target around where I live. I'd be more worried if a war broke out; I live less the 30km or something from a RAAF base.

Yeah if nuclear war breaks out I’m fucked. Because they’re likely to target military structures. Ie that RAAF base, there’s another RAAF base about 50km north of where I live. I’d probably be taken out in the initial impact of the bombs or very soon after.

Anyway, this story is surprising to me. I thought these threats were a way for Howard's terror laws (and the fact that noone seemed to like them as they were) to get rushed through without proper analysis.

Ok sorry if my language offended anyone, most boards I go on have auto filters on. So when you type a word like f*** it appears how I wrote it just then and not as the actual word. So I don’t bother to put in the *s myself.
