Post subject: Old space action strategy/sim game. |
|
|
I'm looking for an old space sim I used to play. It allowed to you create a crew, build a ship, upgrade a ship, navigate the universe, go through nebulas, go through worm holes, explore new planets, find artifacts and minerals on new planets, and had communication between alien races. If you said the wrong thing you would go into combat between your ship and the alien(s). Anyone have a clue?
Thanks |

| Yup, sounds like the same one. This game is great. I had hours and hours of fun. Many iterations - it was never the same game twice. |

| That sounds like a game I've been looking for.. My memory of it is very vague, though. I think it was freeware or shareware and that I downloaded it back then from a BBS. |

it's not freeware, but I did find it at a....very......bad.........site......that none of you should go to.
I'll send you a link now!
(for those that don't want the trouble, it's at you-know-where.org )
Update: it's now been sent to everybody who took the time from their busy lives to humbly post in this thread. |

In my searches I found that there are a few developers working on a new version Starflight III. From their website it looks great! Cant' wait to give it a try. They are in need of artists and developers so if anyone is interested...
