I dont know the name.I knew this game where you jumped from platform to platform on a spaceship. It was 3D and you could control how fast you could go. It had a background of somewhere in space . If you crashed in a wall or a side of a tunnel you would die.

This sounds like Skyroads. You can find it on dosgames.com. It's freeware so you get the full version.
