I remember I played these a while ago when they could be downloaded off of AOL's kids section, but their not there anymore. I've been looking for a while and I can't seem to find Blinky 2 or 3. In 2 you just played as Blinky, but in 3 you could also be a cat and a dinosaur. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I really miss these games! Thanks!!

I'm looking for them too. The cat's name was Doughnut and the dinosaur was named Chum, and the bad guy was Schnookwad or something like that.

Oh, yeah, they were the names of the cat and dinosaur. Glad you brought that up, it was getting annoying trying to think of them. And yes, I'm pretty sure the bad guy's name was Shnookwad. He was the only boss in the third one (I think), but I think the other bosses in the second one were the Snake Patrol, Lizardwizard, and something with extending arms. I think it was called Cyberstupid, but I'm probably wrong. Return of Blinky sounds kind of familar, but I'm not sure if I'm getting mixed up with something else.

OK, I may have found some info that could help. I doubt it, but hey, it's worth a shot. Anyway, I was looking through my room and found a piece of paper with something about Blinky written on it. It had the name "Jermey Lamar" on it and also mentioned AOL kids. I guess that I worte that a while ago in case I ever forget where to find it. I'm guessing Jeremy Lamar was the creator of the game? So I did a search for his name and Blinky and I couldn't get anything. Maybe someone else can? Again, I doubt it, but it's worth a try. Happy

YES! Jermey Lamar was the creator, I remeber that it showed a grafitti-like screen with Blinky winking and his name in big letters, also, I remember I found a floppy disk with some remnants of files on it, but no exe, and it had that as a gif or something. I just tried looking for it again but I can't find it.

OK, thanks anyway. And now that you mention it, I do remember that screen too!! However, while I was looking for the games, I came across a site called game maker or game maker games (not sure which), or something like that. You basically made games there and could post them on the site. I looked up Jeremy Lamar (figuring it was worth a shot), and there were some games that came up!! However, Blinky was not there. Crying I'll keep looking though, and maybe someone here will find it. We have more info than we started with, so hopefully someone can figure it out. I sent an e-mail to AOL (I'm a member) asking them if there was anyway to access old games that used to be there. They'll probably say no, but it couldn't hurt to try. I did this yesterday, and it says it shouldn't take more than 24 hours, so hopefully I'll get a response today. If not, I'll try e-mailing them again on Monday. If AOL does somehow get them to me, I'll e-mail someone here with the game as an attachment. Then they can upload it to the site. (Sorry, I can't do any uploading myself).

Well, I'm about to e-mail AOL again....I hope they respond this time. Does anyone know of a really large social forum somewhere? The more people the better, since there's a better chance that one of them has the game. After all, you'd think SOMEONE out there would have a copy.

That means 'no', then them throwing in an ad for their products.

You know that it is poor cutomer service when not only do they not help you, but they also throw in an advertisement.

Yup, not to mention the fact that this is at least the third, probably fourth, time I had to e-mail them about it.

I...LOVED...BLINKY! It inspired me to make my own games.
Blinky was a dinosaur who loved dougnuts and fought
evil clones of himself and lizard wizards and giant cows and
all kinds of things.

NOTE: Jeremy Lamar made ZZT games too. Ed the Knight. Laughing Celebratory

Another weird thing is why can't we ever find the ORIGINAL
Blinky 1 that supposedly existed? I never even found it
when I had AOL. Just Blinky 2 and 3 and no first game.
