BAM and the dirt is gone.
Q:How do i get jazz jackrabbit, and many other Runtime error games working.
A: Its quite simple. Download Tppatch and then place that in c:\windows\system32.
Go to command prompt then browse for your game (i.e. C:\jazz).
Type tppatch Jazz.exe and you should get fertig...Ok
Then you can play Jazz Jackrabbit as normal but sound may not work. Unless you useVdmsound which is another story.

| Could someone please give detailed instructions for running Jazz Jackrabbit for someone who has downloaded both the game and tppatch files but has absolutely no idea what the heck to do next? I've got Windows XP, if that changes anything. |

Use dos box and don't run the game with the tppatch. It is much easier to just use dos box 0.63 to run the game. Do not use vmd sound either. All you need is dos box. All you have to do is uninstall Jazz jackrabbit than reinstall it with a shortcut to the game made. Put the shortcut into the dos box folder. And drag the shortcut of the game onto the white and blue dos box file. It is so much easier to do than the tppatch.

At that date DOSBox didn't exist. so that was a qualified advice.
And might I say: This is a bunch of very helpful posts mates. This thread should be redone with serious posts |
