Try gammaker, it's a click and drag game creator, so it's prefect for a newbie! And it also has a programming language, which you can use when you're ready (you don't need it to make a game)

If you need any help with it, just PM me.

Are you sure ripster? When i used gamemaker (v5.2 latest one i used) you had to use some kind of trigger or programming script to make the game "playable".

I've got the latest version of it (5. something) and it works fine, without any actual programming needed.

Yeah, I know how you feel Laughing

What is the web page for GamMaker, or where can I get it? A google pulls up nothing.

www.gamemaker.nl is the easy-to-remember domain, which points to the longish 'real' URL listed above.

I'm gonna make a game...

Super Mario Bros. Warped

... rated M Forbidding

Just kidding. I'm going to make re-makes... possibly rate: T

Any 3-d engines that require some programming? (preferrably one that I can download off of Limewire... I know-- I just don't want to spend $200 or more just to find out I don't want to have this)
