hi, I'm a big lucasarts point and click adventure kinda dork, and I found a copy of the dig on bit torrent, but can't run it for the life of me. I did all the things the FAQ on this site told me to, yet when I try to run the game this message pops up:
unable to load muscript.scr

how can I "load" this file?

Make sure the MUSCRIPT.SCR file exists, if it does:

Make sure it is in the correct folder (some ZIP/RAR/other compressed files have built in folders, make sure your extractor recreates them.)
Also make sure it is not Read Only or Hidden (ATTRIB -R -H MUSCRIPT.SCR)
As well make sure the file is not damaged. If you suspect that it is, download the game again.

You can also try DOSBox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net) to see if that helps.

Get ScummVM and download it. http://www.scummvm.org/
It works perfectly for Lucas Arts games.

That's assuming the file you downloaded is good.

I'm way way late here, but I was having the same problem, mine was caused by not having a c: drive mounted in dosbox.

So if your using dosbox, make sure you mount the game folder for both c: and d: drives.

Ah, but you don't use Dosbox for this game, but ScummVM. Really.

Nay, sorry, we do not support(or fulfill) warez requests!

Best solution? Buy the game!
