You were this kid, floating on a balloon (I think?) And you could puff yourself up in the air a couple inches...but you fell back down. So you had to keep going up a bit. I think there were stars that would pop your balloon. Any names or sites!?!

dunno about a computer port, but it WAS a cart for the NES.

Balloon Kid for gameboy screenshots.
Balloon Kid review.
Balloon Fight for Gameboy Colour and NES has some slight similarities to Balloon kid.

The best I can give you is a link to a PC remake of Balloon Fight remade by Groovy Gecko. If you want the originals, you have to buy / find them yourself. I am also not sure whether it is possible to find a PC remake of Balloon Kid.

No, it was another game. It was a kid with a balloon, I dont think it was REALLY called the "balloon kid" sorry for the confusion.

But the kid was definitely in space.
