Castle

Post by detra »

I'm looking for the old old old castles game. This had to be an early 80's game, since it and about 30 other games fit onto one floppy disk. It was so old it didn't even have graphics, it was all just keyboard characters for graphics. Any help would be fantastic :P

its not quite that one. Its actually got graphics that you move around in...you are represented by a little Q i think on the screen and you move around with the arrow keys. Thanks for the try though :)

Hmmm... Castle Adventure still seems to fit your description of "keyboard characters for graphics" though to be honest I haven't ever played it. You're sure you looked at Castle Adventure, not Adventure, right? (The latter is a text only RPG) http://www.dosgames.com/cgi-bin/ss.php? ... castle.gif if the screenshot doesn't work for you either.

If you were represented by an @ (can't think of any Qs) it could be Rogue, Omega, or Nethack.

I'm sorry if I'm not of any help, do you perchance remember the name?
