The plattform, the game runs is WIN, the game takes place in the pacific theatre. You play either japanese or americans. At the beginning of each mission, u have to start either at a airfield or aircraft carrier. The objectives are mostly, destroy enemy planes, ground forces or ships. the enemy aircrafts also respawn either at a airfield or aircraft carrier. At the time they re starting off the runway, its possible to shoot them down before they can lift off. Also there are allies like planes or ground units which assist the player. Sometimes u have to defend your allies too. I remember a mission in the american campaign, where u have to defend an aircraft carrier against a ohka suicide bomb like 3 times (the mission is pretty hard Angry ) Also good to know is that the allied ground units and ships fight against other enemy ground units which is pretty cool.
There are also different planes to choose for each roll like a ground attacker with bombs or a fighter against enemy aircrafts which u can switch at the beginning of the mission. Also I should mention that there is only a 3rd person perspective for the player. I played the game in 2010 i think but im not sure, i have no idea how old the game is, im only guessing around the 2000s it was developed.

I hope that are enough hints, for you guys.
Im glad for every answer. Happy [/b]

Best guess for around 2000, Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2: Pacific Theater

Older ones in case long shot:

But lots of games in this category, esp if anytime in 2000-2010 range. Here are two lists maybe worth a look through, flight sims (including combat) and vehicle combat simulations (including planes).
