Fox adventure game around 2010-ISH (very loose)

PlayStation 2 (I think). 3rd person, 3d. You're an orange fox. Your dad gives you a sword and sends you on a quest. You fight spiders in your neighbor's basement, and explore your cornfield for game currency (gems?) and lives. Towards the end of the game there was a castle or a kingdom in the sky. I remember fighting ghosts in a graveyard, swamp monsters. Your character travels to many different areas and fights a lot of monsters.
