At least *someone* here has good taste. Yes, Tyrian is one of my favorites along with Star Command, SC2, Solar Winds and Radix. I do believe Tyrian has yet to be succeeded by a more advanced or intricate foward scrolling shooter-granted those aren't too common these days. Sarcastic

I like Tyrian, I used to play it every day.

The commander keen series was cool, nothing like some scrollers for a quick thrill.

My favourite, without a doubt, would be Cannon Fodder. I have to try Tyrian though if it's as good as you people say it is. Violent

Daggerfall is an AWESOME dos game except it is really hard to install on WinXP

Wether a game is good or not depends on the player. I bet nobody here has the exact top 10 dos lists for dos games.

I said my favorite was Jazz Jackrabbit in another topic, but now It's a two way tie between Hocus Pocus and Mystic Towers.

Yeah, although I have beaten Jazz without using codes, even the infamous Orbitus(sp?) level 2.

Uggh, the bonus game is soooo boring. I find Mystic Towers and Hocus Pocus much better.

i aboslutly adore hocus pocus.. But i still cant find the winter level with that funky music..
