Lockout: a game like JezzBall

Post by Rachel »

Hello everyone!

I have been doing extensive google searching to no avail. I am looking for a game that I believe was called Lockout. It has nearly the exact rules as JezzBall, and would allow level advances after clearing a portion of the screen. It is visually similar to JezzBall as well. The icon defaulted to the name lockout, but that doesn't mean it was the game title.

I seem to remember that the game came with a cereal box, but I don't recall exactly. While my first time playing the game was 15 years ago (roughly), it was my brother's game and his computer. The logo/icon of the game was a black box with a yellow keyhole and maybe a blue and a red ball. If anyone remembers the game and/or can find it, that would be great! Thanks.

A list of Qix (or JezzBall) variants to check out:

I did not find any Qix-like game in the adver-game group, but maybe you can look for the cereal brand, if it's listed?

A game called "Lockout" exists. See screenshot to confirm.

That's a game that graphically looks similar to Jezzball called "Maxwell's Maniac". See screenshot:
