Cheese-its & Rice!hehe

Well, I am a nobody. hehe

Even though I am a true believer, The Holy Bible says no one believes. hehe

Well, actually there are those that do not believe until the very end.

So I guess that is the way it is.

Okay, seriously - you are probably bored so I just wanted to introduce myself to you - my students.

One day you will see that I am Borland Turbo Assembler 4.1 hehe

Well, that is for Cheese-its & Rice to know and for all of us to find out hehe

Okay, so here we go another basic program. In this program we do nothing except pass control back to the previous calling routine.

model tiny
codeseg
startupcode
ret; this instruction does what we want for real
end

All other instructions are for the compiler to know what the heck we doing

;Cheese-its & Rice!
model tiny
codeseg
startupcode

call here1111
ret

here1111:
ret

end

;In theory, this should jump to the routine named "here1111".
;Then it should ret, which stands for return to where it left off.
;Then it ends the program with another return to a previous place.

Cheese-its & Rice!

Well, good night or morning to all of you.

I have talked enough.

I did not want to leave you with too much to learn.

I know I get tired of cramming information.

So one command is enough.

Like the King of Proverbs says "Little by little makes it grow."

So take your time.

As usual, all glory and praises to Cheese-its & Rice!

This thread is waaaaaaaaaaay too hard to follow. I got about a page and a bit in and said "nope"

I would strongly suggest keeping your posts to significant breakthroughs. Going through pages of anecdotal posts gets tiresome and it isn't really relevant to the game itself.

If you're responding to another user's comment, I would recommend using the
Code:
[quote="USERNAME"][/quote]
tags. That way people going through your posts can follow what the heck is going on.

Any time you update your game, put the new link and update information in your first post. Nobody wants to dig through pages of a thread to find the latest version of a game.

If the game still exports to c:\Jesus I would strongly advise changing it to extract to c:\Arkandos or similar. It makes 0 sense to use a directory name that has nothing at all to do with the game... It just adds confusion

Tien, you still there? I miss the excitement you bring to the forum - I hope all is well with you. Anything new to share?

I think you scared him off by being grouchy in your helpfulness, wardrich. Happy

Hi Quadko,

I am fine. I have just been busy. I just got in my Borland Turbo Assembler 5.0 and verified it to be in perfect working condition. It was a nice break however I could not stay away haha
