Hey, I've been trying to get Privateer 2 to work on my XP machine, and i get a message that says:

Privateer 2 Fatal Error - cdromread - READ STATUS ERROR=ffff8103

and then a bunch of binary. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be...? I really enjoyed this game when I played it on my old computer... tried installing it back on that one too, but can't find sound drivers that work for it (creative soundblaster 16/32). Thanks so much in advance. Celebratory

sounds like a bust cd, and there's not much you can do about a busted cd.

Try the link below:

I haven't tried it (yet), but it's my best bet.
