c++ is great for text games and programs, but very hard to make graphics with it. Never tried to program with QBasic, why wast my time learning QBasic when i could use that time to learn a more powerful language like c++ or possibly Java.

http://www.qb45.com -used to be an awesome site, now only qbasic downloads and a forum on it's front page.
http://rel.betterwebber.com -relsoft's site where he store all his stuff. awesome! check out mono & disco: you won't regret it!

a site with online qbasic help: http://www.qbasicnews.com/qboho/

http://www.hulla-balloo.com/vplanet/qbexpo\ -qb expo 2003. worth seeing!
