Hey, everyone, I'm new to the forums.

I have several problems about Dungeon Keeper 1 running in DOSBox that I am hoping you guys could answer, since you all seem to know what you're doing around here. I've searched a lot on Google for solutions, but I can't seem to find any.

Is it possible to run Dungeon Keeper in DOSBox without a Dungeon Keeper CD (basically, is it possible to run HotU's version of DK in DOSBox?) If so, how? At first, I thought all I had to do was simply mount DOSBox to the directory containing my "keeper.exe" executable, but after mounting and attempting to execute the file, it tells me that the program cannot be run in dos mode. Am I doing something wrong? Or will it just not run?

Besides the HotU's version of DK that I have, I also managed to download Dungeon Keeper in two files: a .mds and a .mdf. How do I get these two to become ONE .iso or a similar image file format?

Please help, I've been searching for solutions for days.

Ziah

Edit*: How silly of me, I forgot to put in my operating system. I am running Windows Vista 32-bit.

Thanks for the imgburn link. I will try that.

As for the topic you linked me to, I read that. It shows how to run DK in DOSBox with CD and how to run the HotU version on XP.

I need to know how to run the HotU version in DOSBox on Vista.

For good understanding:
This is about the HotU version. (That is a rip, Windows only)

For some reason, whenever I try to install Dungeon Keeper using DOSBox, it tells me that it couldn't write files correctly, telling me to check pathname and use scandisk or something.
