i'm desperately looking for an old dos game (muste have been around 90) with a knight character. it was a sidescroller where the main character and the monsters where all in black and you could just see their silhouettes, the background was blueish, you could see the moon and it would change shape over time. you were normally attacked by bats and spiders. the aim was to collect stuff, you would go back to your home tower and create spells of some sort. i also remember that on the box there was the picture f a knight with a freakish raven-style helmet.
thats all i remember, hope you guys can help!

muah ha ha ha ha ha ha i found it using the moby games browser, it was blade warrior.
