Ok guys, this might be a challenge but here goes.

There was this old RPG that I used to play as a child. I think the game was around the time of VGA or SVGA monitors. I remember the players being purple hues. You would walk to the end of the screen, then it would rewrite the screen. So I guess it went from one scene to the next. It was something like Golden Axe, but you had to play as one character. You could choose from 4 characters though. I think there was a knight, an elf, woman, an a sorcerer.

The game starts with the player outside of a castle. You enter the castle then you have to get spells, I think there were magic vials. Every once and a while you have to fight enemies. You can use your weapons or the spells. I remember there where areas where you had to jump over breaks in the path.

There was also a dragon, that was about the height of the player that always used to kill me. I could not get past that part. I used to play this game on my computer. I think it was a dos game. It had to be in the mid 90's. The player was about 25% the height of the screen, so there was not to much going on in the screen as you played.

I think "quest" or "sword" is in the name.

I hope I have provided enough information for someone out there to help me figure out the name of this game.

Oh yeah, in the intro to the game, I think all the players faces flashed before the name of the game came up.

Thanks in advance.
