Hey Folks!
I am looking for a game i have never played myself - but watched my Brother playing when i was 10 or so.
I am not quite sure what it was about, what i remember is that you are kind of at another planet. you have a little man and serveral structures you need to build aswell as some roboters. You could programme these roboters to do certain actions, like switchting the batteries on other roboters, bring them to the battery-refill-station and such things. Might have been in ego-perspective and kind of 3D...
Like i said, i was quite young and i do not remember well. Only that the game was Downloaded by my brother, and came with a terrible virus that crashed the pc some days later .
i appreciate every hint
thank you

I think i just rememberd more things. There was always a main station - and I think it looked a bit like a rocket.
For the Buildings you had to collect resources - i dont know how. And to build that battery refill station you had to find a certain place with special magnetic wavelenghts or so...
argh... I am 20 now and I dream about this game, i need to find it O.o. |

Maybe the game was the virus, eh?
When you say "ego-perspective and kind of 3D" do you actually mean "first person and 3D"?
Also, do you recall if you could directly control the units you created? |

now the memory is 10 years old :/ but ill try to decribe what i saw.
yes you could control the units direcly aswell
and the perspective was in a way, that you could still see the man or roboter you were using fully, but from behind with the camera following it. |

Hrm, I think I know the game(or one very similar to it), but I can't recall the name atm. I'll try to figure it out, but no guarantees.
In the meantime, MobyGames only has around 300 games that match the description. Roughly!
In before dosraider going "baaaaad Larry, it'x X game obviously" |
