I remember hearing about this a long, long time ago but it was a closed beta at the time I believe, regardless Quake has now gone Live. It's basically Quake III but in your browser brought to you by those delightful chaps at ID Software.

What do you want, there's just no pleasing you is there? You've got team matches left, right & centre. It's not the actual Quake III game in your browser, but close enoguh to. The single player version of that game was only there as a matter of course IMO, the focus was always the multiplayer aspect, which is what you've been served up with in a nice little package.  |

Weird the way I keep getting "Unresponsive script" errors every time I brows the games list.

| I loved Quake! I used to have a webpage dedicated to Quake IV, but not enough people were playing it. We had 2 dedicated servers; One running Q4Max and one running Q4Supremacy. It was pretty awesome.... Why did nobody like Quake IV?? I thought it was way better than III, although I could not find a grapple mod anywhere for IV, which sucked big time. |
