I've made a LOT of animations and illustrations for my company but I recently got a unique opportunity to team up with some of the programmers and another senior artist to design a game.

I did all the animation work, designed the chicken character, the instructions page, the background layout, testing etc. and got it licensed and launched recently by our management Shit-Eating Grin

It's called "Chef vs Chicken" and you can find it here

http://www.nextwavemultimedia.com/html/onlinegames.html

It's a pretty silly straightforward simple game. Nothing fancy lol. You play a chicken trying to dodge a chef from catching you and making you into dinner. You can even knock him down with a couple of moves. You have to escape him for about a minute without losing all your lives, and you get bonus points added to the score whenever you whack him! Be sure to read the instructions before you play to know all the moves. They're really funny lol.

Oh and there are some other games there worth checking out as well. Speed Demons and Down the Hill in particular are GREAT!! Shit-Eating Grin

Wha??! When have I ever been unhappy when someone replied?? Name ONE incident. I've always cherished your replies especially dosraider. Infact I jot them down in my diary and read them aloud every night when I can't fall asleep. It works all too well.... I can barely get up in the morning Laughing

Don't even try to blame me for your laziness.

BTW, gave that game a short testrun, not bad at all.

Maybe because your muscles are so weak they have trouble lifting you from the bed?

Chef vs. Chicken is pretty good - not too much challenge once you figure it out, though. Maybe difficulty levels are in order?

Actually it wasn't a novel. It was a game inspired from the movie "Chicken Run" and "Ratatouille" which were both based on a novel Tbbbbbth!

Hmmm... possibly lol.

And as for the game yes we initially designed the game with 2 chefs (a tall one and a short one) chasing the bird around but the company said the game was too difficult to play so I removed one chef and wanted there to be a second level with 2 chefs around to increase the challenge. The programmers never got around to make it and the website staff just uploaded the game with 1 level without even telling us. Also it would've been good if we'd spent more than the 2 weeks we were given and added some original background music.

(sigh) Sometimes I wish I knew Japanese so I could work for Miyamoto at Nintendo Sad

Point?

Still, I feel that 75% of the moves were fairly pointless. Fun but pointless.

When you're a helpless chicken running away from a mad chef who wants to cook you for dinner... Trust me... EVERY move makes a difference between life and being someone's dinner. I know this because in my past life incarnation I was a chicken... and didn't last very long. Laughing

(sigh) That's the move that landed me in the pot. The whole ugly incident flashes before my eyes when I'm asleep sometimes even in my current human form Sad

Now wait a minute here...

dosraider gave you a positive review... and Larry is being snarky, bitter, and rude?

I thought I told you two to stop switching accounts!
