this might be a hard one but i will be thankful for any help i can get.

you start off in a town buy weapons from a store then go up a road to a castle/dungeon (not sure which, probably dungeon) the weapons are automatically used when you get near another enemy. the spells that you have are usually stuff like poison target, heal, fireball stuff like that and you use them by clicking on the button for them that is in the top bar. if you arnt around any one then you can use rest to heal health and meditate to heal mana. there are traps later in the dungeon. sorry this is as far as i know.

i dont know if it really is for dos but any help that any one can give i would love.

thanks

Your description fits almost 99.99% of the games in that genre.
Makes some 10,000 or so possible games.

Helpfull to find or recognise what you're looking for would be:

Gamefield layout?
View? First person? Third person? Isometric? No view at all?
Play alone? Can you gather a party? No players at all?
Map names?
Char names?
Town names?
Enemy names?
Special spell names?
Special items?
Goal of the game? Defeat a special boss? Rape a princess?
Kinda of a story?

Such things, and even then .......

the problem is i dont know most of that but yeah sorry its an over head view, play alone (as far as i know) dont know. i remember that the weapons matched the creatures some what. im pretty sure there were things like goblins and snakes and rats in the first few levels. iv never really played this game. just watched some one play it. but i think you had to get some kind of item and then make it back to the top. there were like levers and swtches i think. im pretty sure the graphics were liney. if that makes any sence at all. not bad graphics but the walls were made up of small lines. it reminds me of RAGNAROK in a way. but the graphics are a lot less pixely

Still doesn't help much, and certainly doesn't ring a bell, sorry.

But hang in, someone else may know ...... but don't set your hopes too high.

This sounds like it might be Castle Of The Winds.

The creator of the game has released it as freeware on his website here:

I hope this helps.
