Please help me find this game! I've been looking for it forever!
I played it around the time I was in kindergarten... so around 1993.
From what I remember, it was called "Island" and the point was to survive long enough to escape from the island. You had to fish for food, collect drinking water, and assemble logs (which I think you would retrieve by swimming through shark-infested water) to eventually make a raft and leave the island. The weather would change everyday, and I think there was a tree. I think you sent out messages in a bottle too.

The graphics were pretty basic, big blocks of colour... and I don't remember seeing any actual movement, just still images that would change, but I could be wrong. I don't remember ever seeing the main character either; i believe it was a first person view.

Pretty vague, I know. I hope this can jog someone's memory because I would really like to find this game.
