I installed Doom 1 and as soon as i went to play it it gave me an error telling me that, "this application does not support full screen mode, press cancel to terminate program." I've tried Dosbox and it doesn't even recognize the program i tell it to run. I am using Vista so i'm thinking there might be some compatability problems, can anybody point me in the right direction. I haven't played doom in YEARS and i'm dying to play it again.

You don't run dosgames as Doom directly in Vista, no can do.
If on Vista:

Read and APPLY this, if you want to play Doom in dosbox.

Also there are several ports for Doom, that work swell in Vista.
