Actually, i believe there is a freeware version on the internet

http://www.fartoogood.com/monopoly/docs.htm It might not exist... my internet book is from a few years ago.

You can find some fine chess games here.

As for Monopoly:


I don't see a Scrabble freeware game, sorry....That's weird, though, you'd think there'd be one....

Chess-wise, I'd recommend Sargon. The last ver I recall was 4. It was very highly rated in it's day. An alternative is Chessmaster 3000, which was the last DOS version of that prog.
