A) Don't double post. There is an "edit" button for a reason.

2. Not everything can be fixed. I'd put money on it that you will never get this thing working. Especially not with your "i'ma poot a viress on it so tat it b fizxd." theory.

C) You didn't answer whoever asked about the beeps. Does it make any beeps?

Oooooooooow Cool GAMER is in a bad mood ... run and hide n00bs!!

Of course Gameboy, it can't be something simple, oh noes, it has to be some exotic virus or whatever, something special.

A interupted conductor on the printboard, a bad contact, or a boken electronic element would be to simple, it isn't melodramatic enough.

Why don't you simply go for the easy solution, and buy your lovely sister a second hand P2?
Let's see, Kapaza.be ......
P2, 350Mhz, 192Mb, Zip drive, 2xUSB, 15" CRT mon, mouse, keyb, all in good working order, ideal for your sister's surfing habits .... 25€

Hundreds of similar compies on TeH internet.

Meh

He's not BLAMING the virus...

He wants to INFECT it WITH the virus. His major plan is to "RESET" the motherboard he found IN THE DUMP by GIVING IT A VIRUS...A virus that in SOME CASES, "RESETS" (read; "corrupts entirely") the motherboard.

That's the master plan.

Failing that, he's going to ignore questions from people that genuinely care about getting this piece of junk working, get all huffy and defensive of the piece of junk and double post.

Waw, you mean you really fully understand what Gameboy wrote,
GAMER +5.

To clear the BIOS:

As described in the manual:
p2l97s-201.pdf - 1.00MB
And you will prob need a PDF reader:
http://www.download.com/Foxit-PDF-Reader/3000-2079_4-10313206.html
Foxit, damn small and fast, of course freeware.

Using a virus to clear the BIOS, LMAO. Laughing

I don't believe this, If I say to put the mobo in the dishwasher, will you do so?
Pfffffffffffff, you're hopeless, really hopeless.

No idea, my only hope is that your mobo will go up in flames and we get some rest and peace here.

You know nothing about BIOS, what it is, how it works and what's stored in it.
Get some help on the spot friend, that's your only hope.

And to enter BIOS setup or 'some crap' you must HAMMER on DEL whilst booting up. Maybe that will get you into 'some crap'.
Confuzzled

FYI: If you can't see the 'hit del to enter setup' message whilst booting -(or trying to)- you won't get it working probably, means you need a complete BIOS rehab, or maybe even a new BIOS chip eventually, you obviously lack the knowledge to do so.

Not only you can't write English, but apparently you also can't read it.

I'll take it from Dosraider, because he knows me, knows english and knows stuff about computers...
But you are an idiot.
Not only do you have no idea how to spell, your plan sucks and i frankly don't understand why anyone is putting up with you or trying to help.

I am NOT in a bad mood, i just can't tolerate idiots who ask for help but can't have the decency to a) learn to spell / use spell check and 2) answer questions from people that actually care what they are talking about.
