so i'm playing elfland and i'm getting pissed cause i keep shooting this big green floating moster in his stupid dumb eye and he won't die...can someone tell me whyyyy?!??!?!?!

You have to have the suit of armor on, and first you have to jump directly on top of it's main eye. It should make the same sound as a flashberry attack from what I can recall. After that, you gotta pelt the hell out of it with flashberries, first the main eye then the body.
