Sound effects in SimCity (Classic)

just downloaded simcity (classic) but can not get sound effects to work
running windows xp but can not find the driver to use - help!

VDMS may help, it's in the Essential Utilities section of dosgames.com.

(BTW, SimCity RULES! I wish I had my old copy, that game was awesome.)
