| My friend got back from Thailand about 3 weeks back, and brought back 20 illegally burnt DVDs - they're excellent quality, and sell for about $2 apiece there. I don't see why anyone would buy DVDs there when you can get them for next to nothing. |

That's the point - most of their DVDs are imported from China - hence why it's called, the pirate trade.
(Now imagine if I wasn't talking about DVDs how weird that'd sound..) |
