If you copy the CD to your hard drive first then run setup it takes care of your problem. I had the same one, and I put those files in my System32 and copied the disc and ran it from my HD and it works fine.

| I had the same problem on my third XP machine. That is until I dropped the OS into safe mode and it installed fine. |
